- The Edwardsville AutumnFest 2007 will begin with a carnival on Sept. 13 and end Sept. 15. The carnival, located south of the fire station on Fourth Street, will feature rides for all ages. The annual Bingo game will be held at 6 p.m. Sept 14 at the Community Center.

- Former seminary now a conference center

- The Savior Pastoral Center used to house aspiring priests. The center, with its landmark bell tower at 12601 Parallel Pkwy., was a minor seminary — essentially a prep school for high school-age students who want to be priests — from 1966 until the late 1980s. Now it's a convention center, and lodging and meeting place for organizations.
