Having a ball at field day

Students at Bonner Springs Elementary had their day in the sun during the school's most recent Field Days.

Hudson Smith, front, Tessa Gallardo, middle, and Angel Villarreal, all first-graders, play a game Tuesday afternoon during BSE Field Day. The goal was to knock the tennis ball off the cone using a Frisbee.
