Remember Pinkies Up February 6, 2008

The St. Teresa’s Circle second annual mother and daughter tea was Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The event had twice as many attending compared to last year, with 120 guests enjoying the tea and treats.

Some young ladies were dressed in their finest frocks and wore smart hats, like 5-year-old Kellan Bright of Shawnee while sipping pink lemonade.

Of course, sitting at the table does require one to partake in conversation, as 6-year-old Kylee Brown was doing. Even if it is with the adults.

Of course, the best part of the tea is enjoying the taste of the mint candies from mom’s gift box like Allison Crist, 5, and her mother Lynn Crist of Shawnee did together
