Velma N. Cole 1919 - 2008 Olathe

Services for Velma Nadine Cole, 88, of Olathe, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs, with burial to follow in Lenape Cemetery near Bonner Springs.
She died Saturday, April 5, at Olathe Medical Center.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cole was born July 18, 1919,in Olathe, the daughter of Jack and Alta Clark. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Olathe. She enjoyed living at the Poplar Court and then later at the Homestead North of Olathe.
She was preceded in death by three children, L. Lavonne Seever, Michael D. Seever and Jacquelyn J. Seever, and her husbands, Mike Seever and Arthur Cole, and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley A. Kurtz, Olathe, and Beverly J. Cornell, Duvall, Wash.; a brother, Marvin L. Clark; two sisters, Melva N. Seever and Lorene Geist; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
