Donald Leo Conrad 1928 - 2008 Tonganoxie

Services for Donald Leo Conrad, 80, Tonganoxie, Kan., were Monday, June 9, at Tonganoxie High School.
Mr. Conrad died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.
He was born Feb. 11, 1928, in Douglas County, Kan., the son of John Horace and Laura Margaret Coffman Conrad. Mr. Conrad was a member of the Tonganoxie Volunteer Fire Department for more than 25 years. He worked for Tonganoxie Rural High School district for 35 years and retired as superintendent of maintenance.
He married Shirley McGraw on Sept. 4, 1948, in Leavenworth County. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Ronald and Charlie, both of Tonganoxie; a sister, Esther Lynch, Topeka; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
