Willa Dee Hooper 1916 - 2008 Tonganoxie

Services for Willa Dee Hooper, 91, Pueblo, Colo., will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 6, at United Methodist Church in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Hooper died Monday, May 26, 2008, in Pueblo.
She was born Aug. 31, 1916, in Polk County, Mo., the daughter of Charley and Delpha Pitts.
She and her husband moved to Kansas City, Mo., in the early 1940s and owned and operated Hooper's Cafe for 32 years. After retirement, they moved to Tonganoxie.
She married Gilbert G. Hooper on July 2, 1932, in Pittsburg, Mo. He died earlier.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Mace, Pueblo; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
