Good publicity

To the editor:
On April 24, while visiting our granddaughter, we attended and thoroughly enjoyed an interesting and entertaining concert at BLHS.
It was apparent that the music teachers and band instructors had spent a great deal of time practicing for this event. The students all seemed to enjoy playing their instruments. They were a happy and well-behaved group of young people.
The music staff, the faculty and students of BES should be congratulated for the time and effort they spent putting on this concert.
Events such as this go a long way to reverse some of the bad publicity schools are now receiving. The Basehor community and parents should be proud of you. Thank you.
