A fatality accident claimed the life of a Bonner Springs High School student late Friday morning at the intersection of Kansas Highway 32 and the exit for northbound K-7.

Bonner Springs’ senior Jerritt Barbarich won the individual gold medal at the Bonner Springs Invitational at Sunflower Hills Golf Course on Thursday. Barbarich’s score of 42 tied Ottawa’s Clinton Moore, but he had a better score on the tiebreaker hole, No. 6.
