Community discussion on waste disposal issues Wednesday

There will be a community discussion on recycling, trash costs and landfill capacity beginning at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Turner Recreation Center located at 831 S. 55th St in Kansas City, Kan..
One KC Voice, a citizen engagement program supported by the Mid-America Regional Council, wants to hear residents’ ideas. Feedback will be given directly to the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kan., to help it develop new and current waste-reduction programs.
