Thanks for participating in the citywide cleanup
April 30, 2008
To the editor:
On behalf of the City of Bonner Springs and the Bonner Beautiful Commission, we wish to express our sincere gratitude for the volunteer’s assistance with our 2008 City-Wide Spring Clean-Up.
It takes everyone doing a part to make our city such a great place to live!
This year we had to make a quick change of location for the picnic due to a weather forecast that was looking progressively gloomier as the weekend approached. We hope you were able to relax and warm up inside the community room at South Park after your hard work in the cold.
Traditionally, the City-Wide Spring Clean-Up has been held at Lions Park and the kick-off (sign in, transportation, bag distribution, etc.) is hurried due to the layout of the outside area. As a participant, we would value your input in evaluating this year’s event in order to make things better for future Spring Clean-Up efforts. Feel free to contact city hall by e-mail at cityhall@bonnersprings.org or call Brenda at 667-1713 to let us know your ideas and suggestions.
Volunteers like you make a world of difference and our clean streets show it!
Again, Thank you!
Respectfully,
Clausie Smith,
Bonner Springs mayor
