Mark “Tony” Holmes

Mark Anthony "Tony" Holmes, 18, of Bonner Springs, passed away March 28 as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday April 3 at Bonner Springs United Methodist Church, 425 W. Morse Ave., with burial to follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8p.m. Wednesday evening at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial
contributions to Children's Mercy Hospital in care of the funeral home.
Tony was born on Nov. 16, 1989 in Kansas City, Kan., and was raised in Bonner Springs, where he attended school. Tony was always a free spirit and no challenges that life threw at him ever slowed him down. He had a heart of gold and would do anything he could to help others. He always wore a smile and was able to make people laugh. He will be loved and missed by his family and all who came in contact with him. The way Tony lived his life was a true inspiration to all because nothing ever held him back. Survivors include his parents Rhonda Holmes and Brian Scholl, and brothers A.J. Holmes and Cody Lowe, all of the home, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
